Heaven is the place of bliss where the angels and saints see God face to face and enjoy eternal happiness with Him, and only those who die in a State of Grace along with having fully satisfied God's justice go directly to Heaven.
The happiness enjoyed by the Saints in Heaven is beyond anything we can conceive. St. Paul tells us: "Eye hath no seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entered the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for them that love Him." (1 Cor. 2:9)
Image Explanation
In the Center we can see the Three Persons of the Godhead, seated within a triangle on the throne of glory surrounded by angels. The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of Angels, Heaven, and Earth, sits to the right of her Son, as her throne is lower than that of God, but raised above that of every other created being.
We can see below her, her chaste spouse, St. Joseph. Behind him is St. Peter holding the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, followed by St. John the Evangelist.
On the right side, we can see St. John the Baptist, Moses, King David, and Abraham.
At the bottom, we can see several other saints, including St Stephen holding a rock, St. Cecilia, St. Catherine, and St. Mary Magdalene.
