Our Father Prayer
 
In Matthew 6:9-13, Our Lord composes for us the Perfect Prayer containing Seven Petitions.

1st Petition: Hallowed be Thy Name
 
We pray for all mankind to know and serve God.
 
The Top Left Scene shows the healing of the lame man by St. Peter in Acts 3:6.
 
2nd Petition: They Kingdom Come
 
We pray for God to come and reign in our hearts, for Him to one day allow us to reign with Him in Heaven, and that all nations will see Him as Christ the King. 
 
The Top Right Scene shows Elder Tobias predicting the coming of the Kingdom of God in Tobit 13:13-14.
 
3rd Petition: They Will be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven
 
We pray for God to grant us the grace to obey Him here on earth as the angels obey Him in Heaven.
 
In the Top Mid Center Scene, we can see Jesus in His agony in the garden saying to His Father, "Father, if Thou Will, remove this chalice from Me, but yet not My Will, but Thine be done." Luke 22:42
 
4th Petition: Give us this Day our Daily Bread
 
We pray for God to give us what is necessary for the life of the body as well as the soul.
 
In the Left Mid Scene, we can see an angel bringing a loaf of bread to the Prophet Elias in the desert. 1 Kings 19
 
The body requires food, clothing, and shelter. The soul requires the Word of God, Sanctifying and Actual Grace, and the Holy Eucharist, "the Living Bread which came down from Heaven." John 6:41 
 
5th Petition: And Forgive us our Trespasses as we Forgive those who Trespass against us
 
We pray for the grace to forgive those who have done or are doing us wrong, so we too may obtain God's Mercy.
 
In the Bottom Mid Scene, we can see Christ on the Cross pardoning His executioners and Penitent Thief, St. Dismas. 
 
In the Right Mid Scene, we can see David sparing the sleeping Saul, who was seeking to kill him. 1 Samuel 26
 
6th Petition: And Lead us not into Temptation
 
We pray for the grace to resist temptation, and thus merit from daily opportunities of defeating the devil.
 
In the Left Bottom Scene, we can see Jesus defeating the devil in the desert.
 
7th Petition: But Deliver us from Evil
 
We pray for God to deliver us from bodily as well as spiritual dangers, to save us from sin, and from eternal damnation.
 
In the Right Bottom Scene, we can see Daniel in the lion's den being miraculously preserved from all harm. Daniel 6:16-24
