Particular Judgement
 
Some people may shy away from an image that shows the reality or potential to be dragged into hell, but instead of hiding from God's Truth, it is better to keep this image viewable as a constant reminder to stay on the Narrow Road to Heaven. 
 
This image serves those who are JUST by staying the course and keeping the faith, but also serves the WICKED and UNREPENTENT as a warning of what awaits all of us!
 
Immediately following our "Hour of Death", we will all stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ and give an account or receive our Particular Judgement or Individual Judgement. 
 
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:10
 
Image Explanation
 
The person on the left side shows the Death of the Just, the one who has died in the State of Grace. She is being escorted by her Guardian Angel to the Judgement Seat, which shows the Scales of Justice weighing Good over Evil, followed by another angel preparing to give her the Crown of Eternal Life. 
 
The person on the right shows the Death of the Sinner, the one who has died in the State of Mortal Sin. His Scale of Justice shows Evil over Good, and because of this, this poor soul is unable to even gaze upon Our Lord, followed by three devils preparing to pull him down to the place he has chosen, Hell. 
 
Many people may never want to expose their children to an image like this piece that depicts demons and a horrible final death, but it would be far worse to keep a child sheltered away from God's Truth. 
 
Instead, we should be like Queen Blanche of Castile, mother of St. Louis IX, who told Louis, "I love you, my dear son, as much as a mother can love her child; but I would rather see you dead at my feet than that you should ever commit a mortal sin." And likewise, the powerful St. Rita, who prayed to God to spare and kill her two sons, so that they may not be able to accomplish the sin of murder that they were planning to do.  
 
And while it seems unfathomable to wish for the death of their child, it would be better than spiritual death and to be separated from them and God for all eternity.
