The Mystical Body of Christ
This Body of Christ is not just seen in those in Heaven, Earth, and Purgatory, but also in the Living Bread from Heaven, the Eucharist in the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Image Explanation
This is a beautiful and inspiring piece of the Doctrine of the Mystical Body of Christ or otherwise known as The Communion of Saints.
Christ's Mystical Body is composed of those in Heaven or The Church Triumphant, those who are alive on earth or The Church Militant, and those who have already gone before us and are being purified waiting to enter into Eternal Bliss or The Church Suffering (Purgatory).
As depicted in this image, those in Heaven, here on Earth, and in Purgatory are all present during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mas
